This session is open to undergraduates, graduates, faculty in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and colleagues in our College and University.

 

 

  - Introduction: The Dean of the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources,

                         Prof. Eugene Cilento (15 min)

  - Keynote speaker: Dr. Lisa Bullard, Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department of Chemical and Biomolecular    

                                 Engineering, College of Engineering, North Carolina State University (40 min+10 min Q/A)

  - Reception: 25 min

 

Extended morning session (10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

Participation for this session is restricted to high school students and selected undergraduate/ graduate students.

 

 

- This session aims to provide the high school students with different perspectives of the societal demands in   

  chemical engineering profession and means for them to contribute to fulfilling any gaps. Further, the high school  

  students will be introduced to the existing opportunities and activities in the Department (i.e., scholarships,

  research, professional development activities, after-hour volunteering events etc.).

 

 

       Location:  Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources (lunch will be provided)

       Activities: Lab-tours, open table discussions with undergraduate and graduate students in the department, etc.

 

Afternoon session (1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.)

This session is open to the undergraduates, graduates, faculty in the Department of Chemical Engineering, and colleagues in our College and University.
